Length: 8 - 11 mm

 

The Reticulate Beetles are divided into two subfamilies. One, Priacminae, contains only the North American genus Priacma.

The other subfamily, Cupedinae, has eight genera found in every part of the world except Europe, New Zealand, and Antarctica.

Larvae of this family mine in wood, particularly rotting wood that contains strands of fungus.
