Subfamily: Blattellinae

Length: most in genus are 16 - 30 mm; males on average are larger than females

 

These wood cockroaches often enter homes because they are attracted to lights, or else are carried into homes hidden on firewood. Roaches in this genus do not become kitchen pests.
