Length: 6 mm
Oedancala dorsalis has stout femora, like the other three Nearctic species in the genus. The range of this species is shown on the map below.
Odeancala crassiman looks similar, but has a longer first antennal segment, and is found from Maryland to South America.
O. bimaculata and O. cubana are Neotropical species that barely make it into the United States (into Texas and Florida, respectively).
