Concealer Moths

Family Oecophoridae

The family's common name derives from the habits of the larvae, which feed on mushrooms or shelf fungi, or on the tiny strands of fungi growing in dead leaves. The adult moths often feature metallic accent colors; when perched they typically appear larger at the rear than at the front.  The wings are fringed along various edges.
