Pycnopalpa bicordata

Family: Pseudophyllidae

Subfamily: Pterochrozinae

Length: some in the tribe are 80-90 mm

Members of the tribe Pterochrozini are extradorinary leaf mimics, with veins, brown areas, and apparent "insect damage." This one was attracted to lights and hence its talents of blending in are not being used.

Determined by: Piotr Naskrecki.
